We threw the plans for our traditional mudguards out the window, then designed models that solve real-world problems and fit as many bikes as possible. FLASCHEGUARD™ mudguards are made from old cans of water cooler. Their manufacture requires up to 75% less crude oil than virgin polycarbonate. For every ton of FLASCHEGUARD™ material produced, almost a ton of CO2 emissions are avoided and end-of-life plastic does not end up in landfills or incinerators. And because we're really trying to change things up, all of our mounting rods are 100% recycled stainless steel. From a design perspective, the beautiful matte finish gives them the look of aluminum, but none of the downsides. The significantly increased length solves the problems of wet feet in the front and soaked gear (and your friend following you) in the rear. Each set of mudguards includes our exclusive AXLERUNNER™ and FRAMERUNNER™ adapters, as well as 'an assortment of small parts allowing you to mount them on almost any type of bike, even if your bike has disc brakes, suspension or was not designed for mudguards.Construction:
